New, old store stock, vintage white brocade side hook girdle, Style #6027 by Elite. The beautiful flower decorated front panel is backed by a floating panel stiffend by 6 bones in an "XXX" pattern and it contains a middle bottom elastic gore to allow easy walking. The sides and back are also stiffened with 10 long bones (4 sets of two 1/4" bones and two 1/2" bones in the mid back). This girdle is donned by wrapping it around the wearer and fastening the long row of hooks and eyes on the left side (see bottom photo). There are 4 attached metal garters (trolley garters in front and adjustable garters in back). Length at the side: 17". This is a good example of a traditional side hook girdle and quite beautiful. Great figure control!

Sizing note:
The model in the photographs usually wears a size 30 or 31 in a side-zip or pull-on girdle; the size 33 was quite snug in the waist for her though not quite snug enough at the bottom hem.
