This is a double fan-laced side-hooked open bottom girdle, Style #9475 by Camp. Other features: elastic gore at bottom front to ease striding, an elastic band at the bottom back to keep the bottom hem taut, heavy bones in a panel behind the front, and four extremely heavy bones in the back (about 15" long and 3/4" wide). Great tummy and derriere control. Of course this garment was marketed as a back support garment and it certainly will give back support...you will stand erect, not bend at the waist and sit up straight on the edge of a chair when you wear it. Some would call it a devil's own torture device, especially after wearing it for any length of time!
Size 37 (Hip). With laces fully closed top measurement: 24; with laces open top measurement: 29". BE CAREFUL: this girdle is sized by hip!!! The model in these photographs usually wears a size 30 girdle; the pictures show a size 40 and it was difficult for her to get into that size!. New, old store stock.
